INDRE-SOURCE
Weekend of May Day. During the French Revolution, my village was renamed Indre-Source. He has since taken his name, but there is always the river that flows endlessly, and whispers among the stones. In places, it is quieter, it gains in depth, the currents are barely visible beneath the surface.

Bachelard claimed he had a cellar and an attic be afraid to dream. That house was just like this thought: cellar was dark with desire, where there were potatoes, coal and a dirt floor. The attic was hot and dusty, a little stuffy, perhaps, I perceive the smell and I still remember the soft light coming in through the skylight. My father had piled up his toys and I often rode on the sly to watch these wonders without touching it, without damaging them.
